Our Colonial style fitted kitchens
What is a colonial kitchen?
The term colonial dates back to the colonial period were separate buildings located in the back of the main house. The idea of a colonial kitchen now, is much more modern, but still holds a few aspects of tradition. A colonial kitchen is based around space, accessibility and creating a warm functioning part of the family home. Traditionally a colonial kitchen was set around a fireplace as the central point and the main space for cooking. Over the years fireplaces have become a thing of the past in the kitchen and a practical kitchen island often makes for a modern alternative.
